About Daniel
Solo developer building thoughtful tools for the indie community.
No venture capital, no growth hacking—just calm, purposeful software.
Hey, I'm Daniel—solo iOS developer, indie builder, and creator of Crafter Apps.
I design and ship thoughtful tools for the indie developer community. No venture capital, no growth hacking—just calm, purposeful software built for people who value privacy, craft, and clarity.
My Story
I've been coding for over a decade, starting with tiny web projects and eventually falling in love with the Apple ecosystem. These days, I work independently—writing every line of code and designing every pixel myself. My projects are shaped by real-world needs, not investor slideshows or viral trends.
I'm fascinated by modern Swift, SwiftUI, and creative uses of AI. My toolbox includes Xcode, Cursor, Claude, Figma, Firebase, and just enough caffeine.
My Values
Solo by choice. I stay small so I can focus on the details, move quickly, and maintain full ownership over the work.
Privacy-first. None of my apps include invasive analytics or dark patterns. Respecting users is non-negotiable.
Craft and clarity. I care about good design, thoughtful UX, and tools that feel joyful to use.
Transparent process. I share my journey, devlogs, and real experiments—mistakes and all—on YouTube and social platforms. Building in public is how I learn, teach, and stay accountable.
My Work
All my apps are available on App Store. Some recent projects include:
- SymbolCraft — an SF Symbol utility for devs
- SmartQR — a customizable QR code toolkit
- ScrollCraft — perfect scrolling interfaces for iOS
- AppIcon Maker — professional app icon generation
Let's Connect
I'm always open to meaningful collaborations, consulting for indie projects, or simply talking shop about SwiftUI, app design, and creative workflows. If you're looking for a developer who can take a project from idea to launch—with full-stack skills and an indie mindset—let's chat.
Curious about how I work? Check out my Why Crafter page, or browse my build-in-public stories and tutorials on YouTube.
Thanks for stopping by.
