CueMesh
CueMesh app iconCueMesh — Offline cues for small live teams

Keep every cue clear, nearby, and accounted for.

CueMesh connects compatible nearby iPhone and iPad devices directly, so a Host can send ordered cues to a live team and see exactly who acknowledged each one—privately, and without an account, cloud service, venue Wi‑Fi, or internet connection.

Cues that prove they arrived

Ordered, from the Host

Create and reorder cue lists for each production, then send them in sequence. The Host runs the list, and every device works through the same cues in the same order.

Persistent, readable cues

Each Participant sees a persistent, readable cue—not an alert that vanishes—and acknowledges it explicitly once it has been seen.

Sent, presented, acknowledged

The Host can distinguish sent, presented, and acknowledged states for every cue instead of guessing whether a message actually arrived backstage.

Ready for the room you actually perform in

Direct nearby connections

Compatible nearby iPhone and iPad devices connect directly using Wi‑Fi Aware. Pair devices, assign Host or Participant roles, and run cues with no venue Wi‑Fi or internet connection.

Predictable recovery

Live rooms are messy. CueMesh is built to recover predictably from duplicates, disconnects, and reconnects, and it keeps a local rehearsal log on the device.

Private by design

Production data, device roles, and rehearsal logs stay local. CueMesh has no account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or remote internet control.

Pre-release availability

CueMesh is in active development for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later; Wi‑Fi Aware requires compatible devices. Participants are always free. Hosts can run live sessions and keep one saved production free, with unlimited cues, and optional Lifetime Access unlocks unlimited saved productions with a one-time purchase—no subscription. The app is not yet available to download, and this page intentionally provides no App Store offer.

Maker note

Why an acknowledged cue beats a delivered one

Backstage, “I sent it” is not the same as “they saw it.” I built CueMesh so the Host can distinguish sent, presented, and acknowledged states instead of guessing—and so the whole session runs over direct nearby connections, because venue Wi‑Fi is exactly the thing you cannot count on mid-show. It is a coordination tool for theatre, live events, classrooms, and small film crews, and deliberately not a safety-critical system.

CueMesh questions

What exactly is CueMesh?

A cue delivery tool for small live teams. Compatible nearby iPhone and iPad devices connect directly using Wi‑Fi Aware; the Host sends cues in order, and each Participant sees a persistent, readable cue and acknowledges it explicitly.

Does it need internet or venue Wi‑Fi?

No. Devices connect directly to each other. CueMesh requires no account, cloud service, venue Wi‑Fi, or internet connection—only compatible nearby devices.

What is free, and what does Lifetime Access unlock?

Participants are always free. Hosts can run live sessions and keep one saved production free, with unlimited cues. Lifetime Access is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited saved productions—there is no subscription.

Can I use it for pyrotechnics or rigging cues?

No. CueMesh is a coordination tool, not a safety-critical system. Never use it for pyrotechnics, rigging, or any cue whose failure could endanger people.

Where does my production data live?

On your devices. Production data, device roles, and rehearsal logs stay local, and CueMesh has no account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or remote internet control.

When can I download it?

Not yet. CueMesh is an active pre-release project that ships when it meets the studio bar, so this page carries no App Store badge, offer, price, or promised launch date.
