Make a deck. Practice it. Keep moving.

SnapCards is a private, account-free flashcard app: build a focused deck of text cards, practice the whole thing in one sitting, and keep every card on your own device.

Deck building without ceremony

No account, ever

Open the app and start writing cards. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no sync service standing between you and the thing you want to memorize.

Focused text cards

Cards are plain text — a prompt on one side, an answer on the other — so writing a deck is fast enough to do right before you need it.

Built for one sitting

SnapCards is designed around a complete loop: build a deck and practice it in the same sitting, instead of maintaining a study system for weeks.

Practice that stays yours

Whole-deck runs

Practice means running through the deck you just built, card by card, until you have seen it all — a session with a clear start and a clear end.

You mark the results

As you practice, you mark your own results. The judgment about what you actually know stays with you.

Local-first storage

Decks, cards, and practice state are kept on your devices. Your study material is yours, not an entry in someone else's database.

Pre-release availability

SnapCards is in active development for iPhone and iPad and is not yet available to download, so this page intentionally provides no App Store offer, price, or promised launch date. The free and paid split has not been published yet; once it is finalized, this page will state plainly what is free and what an optional Lifetime Access unlock — a one-time purchase, no subscription — would include.

Maker note

Why a flashcard app should not ask who you are

Most flashcard tools open with an account screen, a sync service, and a study plan before you have written a single card. SnapCards starts from the opposite end: the fastest possible path from a thing you want to remember to a deck you can practice, in one sitting, with everything stored on your own device. If an app's whole job is holding your cards, it does not need to know your name.

SnapCards questions

What exactly is SnapCards?

A private flashcard app for iPhone and iPad. You build a focused deck of text cards, run through the whole deck in a practice session, and mark your own results as you go.

Do I need an account?

No. SnapCards is account-free by design — there is no sign-up, sign-in, or profile.

Where are my decks stored?

On your devices. Decks, cards, and practice state are kept locally under the current product plan.

What will it cost?

Pricing has not been announced. If SnapCards ships with a paid unlock, it will be Lifetime Access — a one-time purchase, no subscription — and this page will document the exact free and paid split once it is finalized.

When can I download it?

Not yet — SnapCards is an active pre-release project, and this page deliberately shows no App Store badge, offer, or price. It ships when it meets the studio bar, and no launch date is promised here.
