Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to me. Clock Widget Creator keeps clocks, themes, schedules, imported files, and widget state in the local App Group store. Optional feedback is the only Crafter Apps network-backed feature.
Privacy-First Design
Clock Widget Creator is designed for local widget customization. Clock styles, widget settings, saved themes, schedules, and app preferences stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
No Tracking or Advertising
ClockWidget does not contain any advertising or tracking SDKs. I do not track you across apps or websites, and I do not share any data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Information Stored on Your Device
ClockWidget may store the following information locally on your device only:
Widget Data
- Clock Styles: Saved layouts, colors, and widget appearance choices
- Widget Settings: Display options used by your Home Screen widgets
- Saved Presets: Custom configurations you create in the app
App Preferences
- Interface Settings: Recent options and local preferences
- Widget Refresh State: Local state needed to keep widgets current
Information I Do NOT Collect
ClockWidget does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Personal identification information outside the name and email you deliberately provide with optional feedback
- Location data
- Health or fitness data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Clock definitions, themes, schedules, imported images, or widget state sent to external servers
Notifications
Widget customization does not need notifications. If you enable a paid per-clock alarm, the app requests notification access so it can schedule that alarm locally. The widget only displays an alarm indicator.
Data Storage
ClockWidget data is stored locally on your device. This data:
- Leaves the app only when you deliberately import, export, or share a clock file
- Is not currently verified to sync through CloudKit because the checked-in app entitlements do not enable iCloud
- Is included in your device's iCloud backup if you have backups enabled in iOS Settings
- Is deleted when you delete the App
No Tracking Services
Clock Widget Creator has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote clock-processing services. There is no:
- Firebase or other analytics platforms
- Crash reporting services
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Remote clock, theme, or image processing service
Optional Feedback
If you choose to submit feedback, the name, email, message, priority, likes, and project identifier you provide are sent through the configured Netlify service to Notion. Clock definitions, themes, schedules, imported photos, and widget state are not included.
Data Sharing
I do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), I confirm: I do not sell your personal information.
Clock and widget data is not shared. Apple handles StoreKit purchases, and the optional feedback service processes only the disclosed feedback payload you choose to submit.
Your Rights and Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- View Your Data: Your widget styles and presets are visible inside the app
- Delete Presets: Remove saved widget configurations you no longer need
- Delete All Data: Uninstalling the App removes all associated data
Children's Privacy
ClockWidget does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Apple App Store
ClockWidget is distributed through the Apple App Store and complies with Apple's App Store Guidelines. For information about how Apple handles your data, please see Apple's Privacy Policy.
