Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a new habit?
Tap the "+" button to create a new habit. Enter the habit name, select which days of the week you want to practice the habit, and optionally set a reminder time. Tap "Save" and your habit is ready to track.
How do I mark a habit as complete?
Simply tap on a habit in your list to mark it as complete for today. You'll see the habit update with a checkmark and the calendar will show green for that day.
What do the calendar colors mean?
The calendar uses a simple color system to show your progress:
- Green: You completed the habit on this day
- Yellow: Today's date (so you know where you are)
- Red: You missed the habit on a scheduled day
- No color: The habit wasn't scheduled for this day
How do I set up reminders?
When creating or editing a habit, toggle on "Reminder" and select a time. Make sure you've allowed notifications for Done in your iOS Settings. Reminders will only appear on days the habit is scheduled.
Is my data synced to the cloud?
Core habit data is local by default, and Done does not require an account. Premium iCloud sync may sync habit data through your Apple iCloud/CloudKit when enabled and available. Optional feedback is sent to Daniel's feedback backend connected to Notion only when you submit it.
Does Done use Apple Health?
Done can optionally read selected Apple Health data on your device for premium health-linked habits. Health access is controlled by Apple's Health permission sheet and can be changed in iOS Settings. Done does not send Health data to the feedback backend.
How do I delete a habit?
Swipe left on any habit in your list to reveal the delete option. Deleting a habit will also remove all of its completion history. This action cannot be undone.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app removes local app data from that device. If premium iCloud sync was enabled, habit data synced through Apple iCloud/CloudKit may remain available through your Apple account according to Apple's iCloud behavior.
Still need help?
If you can't find the answer to your question, please contact me at developer@crafterapps.com or use the optional in-app feedback flow. In-app feedback sends your name, email address, message, priority, and support metadata to Daniel's feedback backend connected to Notion.
