Privacy Policy
MemoFlow respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
Data Collection
MemoFlow does not collect, transmit, or store your recording projects on external servers. Audio, transcripts, summaries, imported context, and project chat stay on your device.
Permissions Used
MemoFlow requests the following permissions:
- Microphone: Required to record audio. Recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
- Speech resources: Apple’s Speech framework supplies the on-device models used to transcribe saved audio. MemoFlow does not upload recordings to a Crafter Apps server.
On-Device Processing
All audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and AI interactions are processed entirely on your device using Apple system frameworks:
- Speech Framework: Converts your recordings to text using on-device speech recognition.
- Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models): Generates summaries and powers the chat feature. All AI processing happens locally on your device.
No audio, transcripts, or AI conversations are sent to our servers or any third-party AI services.
Third-Party Services
MemoFlow does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. Crafter Apps does not know who you are or what you record.
Support
The App Store build does not include an in-app network feedback form. If you email support outside the app, your email provider handles the message and any information you choose to include.
Data Storage
Project records, transcripts, summaries, imported context, and chat are stored locally with SwiftData. Audio files are stored in the app’s private Documents directory. You can delete projects within the app or remove the app and its local data.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. We do not have access to your data and cannot delete it remotely. When you delete a project or uninstall the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
Children's Privacy
MemoFlow is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Crafter Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since app data is stored locally and is not collected by Crafter Apps, no recording content is transmitted to us from users of any age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
