Privacy Policy
Crafter Console: Trends is local-first for App Store Connect credentials and portfolio data. The optional feedback feature is the one separate path that can send information you choose to enter to Daniel's support backend.
No tracking or advertising
Trends contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, cross-app tracking, or data-broker integration. App Store Connect credentials and reports are not routed through a Crafter Apps analytics service.
Credentials and App Store Connect data
- Credentials: your private key, Key ID, and Issuer ID are stored in Apple's Keychain on your device.
- Vendor number: used locally when requesting Apple sales reports.
- Portfolio data: tracked-app identity, downloads, revenue, countries, subscriptions, rankings, goals, sync state, and notification history are cached locally in Core Data.
- Widgets: selected trend summaries are shared read-only with the widget extension through the app's private App Group container.
Direct connections to Apple
When you validate credentials or refresh data, Trends signs requests on your device and connects directly to Apple's App Store Connect APIs, sales-report service, public lookup service, or ranking feeds over HTTPS. Apple handles those requests under its own terms and privacy policy.
Optional feedback
If you choose to submit feedback in the app, Trends sends the name, email address, and message you enter to Daniel's feedback backend, which is connected to Notion. That service is separate from the App Store Connect sync pipeline. Feedback is used only for support and product improvement, not advertising or behavioral analytics.
Do not include an App Store Connect private key, credential, JWT, vendor number, or copied sales report in feedback. Trends does not intentionally attach those items to a submission.
Storage, deletion, and sync
Portfolio and trend data remain in local Core Data; there is no CloudKit or account-based sync. You can remove credentials and cached data in the app where controls are provided, or delete the app to remove its local container. Keychain and Apple-managed backup behavior remains subject to Apple's platform rules. Feedback already submitted may be retained as needed to resolve and document the request.
Information not used
Trends does not use location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, advertising identifiers, third-party AI services, or third-party advertising and tracking SDKs.
Children's privacy
Trends is a professional developer tool and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.
Changes and contact
I may update this policy as the app changes. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to developer@crafterapps.com.
