Why Trends connects directly to Apple
A small studio needs answers, not another analytics platform holding its credentials and revenue history. Trends stores App Store Connect credentials in Keychain, requests the verified data directly from Apple, and keeps cached trend context local. Errors stay visible because an empty chart should never silently stand in for an authentication or report failure.

Where are my App Store Connect credentials stored?
Issuer ID, Key ID, vendor number, and private key are stored in Apple’s Keychain and used for direct authentication with Apple.
Does Crafter Apps receive my sales reports?
No. The app connects to App Store Connect directly. Fetched trends are cached locally, with selected summaries shared read-only to the widget through the private App Group.
