Why AppIcon Maker starts with diagnostics
A ZIP is only useful when the source image and catalog structure are trustworthy. I built the free part around inspection so you can see cropping, transparency, resolution, and the selected Xcode format before the purchase boundary. The app deliberately prepares existing artwork; it does not pretend that resizing can repair a weak source image or replace icon design.

Does AppIcon Maker design the artwork for me?
No. Import finished source artwork, inspect how it will be cropped and flattened, then prepare an iPhone or iPad asset catalog. It does not generate artwork with AI or replace a layered design tool.

Modern Xcode creates the current single 1024×1024 universal iOS catalog. Classic Full Size Set creates explicit iPhone and iPad sizes for projects that still need the traditional structure.
