Privacy Policy
Giftahead: Birthday Countdown is designed around local processing and storage. There is no account, and there is no iCloud sync: your list stays on the device where you add it.
Core app data
Names, birthdays, relationships, notes, gift status, reminder lead times, alarm times, and notification preferences are stored locally, in storage the app shares only with its own widgets. Reminder scheduling is handled through Apple’s local notification system. If you export your list as a CSV or PDF file with Lifetime Access, the file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to send it.
Contacts import
Importing from Contacts is optional. Giftahead asks for Contacts access only when you choose Import. It reads names and birthdays, keeps only the name and birthday of the people you select, and never changes your contacts. Nothing read from Contacts leaves your device. If you don’t allow access, you can still add people by hand.
Calendar
Add to Calendar opens Apple’s own event editor. Giftahead does not request access to your calendars and cannot read them; you decide whether to save the event.
Birthday alarms
With Lifetime Access you can set an alarm for a person’s birthday. Alarms are scheduled on your device through Apple’s AlarmKit, and Giftahead asks for alarm permission the first time you set one. Alarm details do not leave your device.
Apple Intelligence
With Lifetime Access, message drafts and gift ideas are written by Apple Intelligence on your device; this needs a device where Apple Intelligence is available and turned on. The model works only with what you entered in Giftahead, such as a person’s name, relationship, note, and gift status. Drafts and ideas are not sent to Crafter Apps or to any other service.
Spotlight
So you can find people from Search, Giftahead adds each person’s name, next birthday, and note to the Spotlight index on your device. The index stays on your device.
Optional feedback
If you choose to use the in-app feedback feature, the name, email address, category, and message you enter are sent to Crafter Apps’ moderated feedback service. This information is used to review the feedback, publish approved feedback where applicable, and allow a developer reply. Sending feedback is optional.
No tracking
Giftahead: Birthday Countdown does not include advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking SDKs. Feedback information is not used for tracking.
