Local reminders first
Annual notifications are scheduled on your device. Optional AlarmKit alarms are additional and never replace or gate the ordinary reminder queue.
Manual or Contacts import
Add anyone manually with no permissions. Contacts access is optional, read-only, and used only for the people you explicitly select; Giftahead never writes back to Contacts.
Present where birthdays are useful
Home Screen, Spotlight, and Siri
Widgets, App Intents, and Spotlight make upcoming birthdays visible without opening a complex planner. The widget reads the same local store and never changes your list.
Private by construction
Names, birthdays, notes, relationship labels, reminder choices, and gift progress stay in an app-owned SwiftData store. There is no account, analytics system, advertising profile, or cloud sync.
On-device drafting
On compatible devices, optional Apple Intelligence can help draft a message or suggest a gift idea from your own note. It never supplies merchants, prices, affiliate links, or products to buy.
Pre-release availability
Giftahead is in active development for iPhone and iPad on iOS 26 or later. The current product plan includes five people, the global reminder lead time, Contacts import, widgets, and App Intents in the free experience. Planned Lifetime Access expands the list, adds per-person lead times, on-device drafting, and document or spreadsheet export. The app is not yet available to download, and this page intentionally provides no App Store offer.

Why the reminder belongs to the person, not the date
A birthday is fixed, but preparation is not. Some people need a same-week reminder; others deserve enough notice to plan something personal. Giftahead is built around that difference while deliberately avoiding shopping links, affiliate suggestions, social mechanics, and accounts that would distract from a simple private list.

Do I have to give Giftahead access to Contacts?
No. You can create every person manually. Contacts access is optional and read-only, and Giftahead imports only the people you explicitly select without writing changes back to Contacts.
Does the on-device drafting feature shop for gifts?
No. On compatible devices, Apple Intelligence can help draft a message or suggest an idea from your own note. Giftahead does not provide merchants, products, prices, affiliate links, or purchasing recommendations.
What is planned for the free experience?
The current product plan includes up to five people, a global reminder lead time, Contacts import, widgets, and App Intents. Per-person lead times, a larger list, on-device drafting, and export are planned for Lifetime Access.
Can I download Giftahead now?
Not yet. Giftahead is an active pre-release project, so this page intentionally has no App Store badge, offer, price, or promised launch date. The support and policy routes document the current product plan while development continues.
