Calendar notifications are easy to miss because they arrive like everything else. Unmissable uses Apple’s AlarmKit to create a real system alarm for an event you select. It is focused on that one job—not replacing your calendar, planning the day, or managing a task list.

Unmissable reads upcoming events through EventKit after you grant access. Pick the event, choose the exact amount of time before it starts, and arm the alarm. Recurring events, all-day events, and time-zone changes are handled as calendar cases rather than flattened into an unrelated reminder list.

When it matters
An alert designed to be acted on
The ringing screen names the calendar event and gives you deliberate snooze and stop controls. Before it rings, an optional countdown can keep the next alarm visible on supported Lock Screen and Dynamic Island surfaces.
Unmissable tracks the state iOS reports; it does not claim it can bypass a powered-off phone, missing permission, or system-level alarm restrictions.

Automation with a review step
Auto-arm rules remain yours to understand
Lifetime Access can save rules for the events you repeatedly care about, including selected calendars and an optional participant filter. On supported devices, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models can draft a rule from a description—but the draft is shown for review. AI never schedules or cancels an alarm by itself.
Automatic after approval
Once you save a rule, matching upcoming events can be prepared without rebuilding the same filter every time.
Not autonomous planning
The app does not rewrite calendar events, invent schedules, contact attendees, or let a model silently decide which alarms matter.
Local-first
Calendar data and alarm history stay on the iPhone
Unmissable has no user account, cloud sync, advertising, or behavioral analytics. Calendar access, alarm settings, saved rules, and history are used locally for the alarm workflow. If you deliberately send feedback, the contact details and message you enter are handled separately for support; the privacy policy explains the current fields and retention.

Why I did not build another calendar
Your calendar already knows where you need to be. The missing piece was a stronger way to get your attention for the handful of events that genuinely cannot slip by. Keeping that boundary sharp makes Unmissable easier to trust: it reads the event you choose and gives it an alarm, without trying to own the rest of your day.

How is this different from a calendar alert?
Unmissable uses AlarmKit’s system alarm experience for selected events, with snooze and stop controls, instead of creating another standard notification.
Does it replace my calendar app?
No. It reads events from calendars you permit and adds alarm behavior. Event creation, invitations, scheduling, and calendar management remain in your existing calendar apps.
What happens if I deny a permission?
Without calendar access, Unmissable cannot show events to arm. Without alarm authorization, it cannot schedule an AlarmKit alarm. The app provides routes back to the relevant settings, but it cannot bypass iOS permission choices.
What devices are supported?
Unmissable requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later because its core experience depends on AlarmKit. Some visibility and on-device model features also depend on supported system hardware and availability.
