Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to me. Clock Widget Creator keeps your clocks, alarm settings, and app preferences in the local App Group store on your device. Optional feedback is the only Crafter Apps network-backed feature.
Privacy-First Design
Clock Widget Creator is designed for local widget customization. Your clocks, alarm settings, and app preferences stay on your device. The app has no account, no iCloud sync, and no clock import or export.
No Tracking or Advertising
Clock Widget Creator does not contain any advertising or tracking SDKs. I do not track you across apps or websites, and I do not share any data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Information Stored on Your Device
Clock Widget Creator may store the following information locally on your device only:
Widget Data
- Clocks: Each clock’s name, face, colors, numerals, time format, time zone, and Auto Day/Night setting
- Alarm Settings: The alarm time, label, and repeat days for clocks where you turn on an alarm
- Widget Settings: Which clock each Home Screen or Lock Screen widget shows
App Preferences
- Interface Settings: Recent options and local preferences
- Widget Refresh State: Local state needed to keep widgets current
Information I Do NOT Collect
Clock Widget Creator does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Personal identification information outside the name and email you deliberately provide with optional feedback
- Location data
- Health or fitness data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Your clocks, alarm settings, or widget state sent to external servers
Notifications
Widget customization does not need notifications. Alarms are local notifications. If you turn on an alarm for a clock with Clock Widget Pro, the app asks for permission and schedules the notification on your device. The widget only displays an alarm indicator.
Data Storage
Clock Widget Creator data is stored locally on your device. This data:
- Is not exported, shared, or sent to a server by the app
- Does not sync through iCloud
- Is included in your device's iCloud backup if you have backups enabled in iOS Settings
- Is removed when you delete the app; device backups and submitted feedback are handled separately
No Tracking Services
Clock Widget Creator has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote clock-processing services. There is no:
- Firebase or other analytics platforms
- Crash reporting services
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Remote clock processing service
Optional Feedback
If you choose to submit feedback, the name, email, message, priority, likes, and project identifier you provide are sent through the configured Netlify service to Notion. Your clocks, alarm settings, and widget state are not included.
Data Sharing
I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Feedback you submit is handled by the configured Netlify/Notion service described above. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), I confirm: I do not sell your personal information.
Clock and widget data is not shared. Apple handles StoreKit purchases, and the optional feedback service processes only the disclosed feedback payload you choose to submit.
Your Rights and Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- View Your Data: Your clocks and alarms are visible inside the app
- Delete Clocks: Remove clocks you no longer need
- Delete Local Data: Uninstalling the app removes its local data. Device backups, submitted feedback, and email messages are separate copies.
Children's Privacy
The optional feedback form can include personal information. For questions about a child’s use of Clock Widget Creator or information submitted with feedback, contact developer@crafterapps.com.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Apple App Store
Clock Widget Creator is distributed through the Apple App Store and complies with Apple's App Store Guidelines. For information about how Apple handles your data, please see Apple's Privacy Policy.
